I got a little kinky!  Decided to go the way of the twist for the summer.  I simply could not take NOT liking my hair day-after-day-after-day!  A few days before I started a new full-time job I decided invest in Kinky Twists so that I didn’t have to deal with A) not feeling confident & B) doing my hair e’ryday —-total nightmare.

After 7 weeks the twists were pretty much falling out since my edges were so short.  But, boy I how I loved them!  I tried to switch up the style now and then, but of course I relied heavily on the pony!  

Now that the twists are out, my hair has got some length on it!  Enough to actually like it…a leeeeeetle bit more. =)

I am owning my commitment to go natural.  I still have a strong sense that this is what I need to do to love myself exactly the way God made me.  Being uncomfortable for awhile is inevitable.  Let the journey continue…
